Raquel takes pride in creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at Golf Club of Houston. At the age of 6, Raquel had the honor of developing integrity through the completion of First Tee of Greater Houston Program. She then began to compete in junior golf associations which taught her valuable lessons on and off the course. Raquel obtained her BA in Sports Management Business, May of 2016 at Rogers State University where she competed all 4 years of collegiate golf. With 5 years of experience working at public and private golf courses she has had the pleasure of performing Golf Operations and providing Golf Instruction. She has honed her teaching skills by providing golf instruction to Girls Golf of Houston, PGA Jr League, Summer Junior Golf Camps, Ladies on Course, and year-round clinics for juniors and adults.
Raquel is currently in Level 1 of the PGA PGM Associate Program and looks forward to pursuing her official career path in Golf Operations. To contribute to the Club’s success, her goal is to continue providing remarkable experiences through daily Golf Operations and Golf Instruction.
