Alex is a native of Colombia who was raised in New York and Texas. Alex attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Upon graduation in 2008, she joined the Fellowship program at the CIA getting certified as Sommelier II, Mixologist, Executive Chef and trained in specific cuisines such as Southeast Asia, India, and the Mediterranean. Alex began her career as the Maitre’d and Executive Catering Chef at Troutbeck Inn in New York and was then given the opportunity to work at the Equinox Golf Resort & Spa in Vermont. Followed by an apprentice at the London Hotel, Per Se and Le Bernadin in NYC, NY. Alex has been in the Private Club business for the last 20 years creating extraordinary moments for member through, wine dinners, cooking classes, chef’s tables and more.
